June 2008:
I left Washington in 1972 and spent the next 20 years in California, Texas and Pennsylvania. Was a great experience living in different places and meeting new friends.
Returned to Washington (Alderbrook) in 1991 and was retired (well, actually I quit working) for 10 years. Change of life in 2000, not only turning 55 but found myself newly divorced and single again. Started a part-time job in 2001 that turned into full time work until Jan. 2008 when I retired for the 2nd time.
My daughter, Stephanie, lives in Tacoma and has two children Mallory is 23 and has gtraduated from Syracuse University, currently working in Tacoma; Paul is 21 and lives and works in Tacoma. My son, Steven lives in Texas with his wife and my two "granddogs".
Ron and I live at Lake Limerick. We enjoy golfing (he's a "mudder, I'm not!) and are members at both Alderbrook and Lake Limerick. He loves to dance, so we have enrolled in several dance classes - obviously to improve my skills. Have found this to be almost as much fun as golf. |
