Now: Retired in November, 2002. Just bought a river sled. Doing lots of fishing salmon, steelhead. Marsha and I have been married for eight years. Just completed a fly rod on which I hope to catch a steelhead something Ive dreamed of since I was a kid.
Marsha still plays volleyball, and went to the World Senior Games in Utah last year.
History: After high school, it was college at WSU. Then military service. Flew helicopters in Vietnam for 18 months. Then back to college at UW. Then consulting forestry for a year, logged for three years, then worked for the state for nearly 30 years. I was originally employed as an economist at Natural Resources, then got into computers, and finished up doing software certification for network applications for Labor & Industries.
Although I fished when I was younger, didnt really get back into it until just a few years ago after I was persuaded by a close friend. Now Im just loving it. |

Double dating with Dan Harvey was one of the most crazy times of my life. Remember Senior Week at Twanoh, and drinking beer on the now Alderbrook Golf Course. |
