July 2003:
Attended U of W in Seattle my freshman year, then transferred to Western Washington State College (now WWSU) in Bellingham. Married Sandy McLean of Issaquah one week before my senior year (and her junior year). Graduated June 1967 and then attended US Air Force Officer Training School in San Antonio, TX graduating in Sept. and then stationed in Minot AFB, Minot, ND for 3 years. We then transferred to Thailand where we stayed for 1 year. I entered as 2nd Lieutenant and left a Captain serving as the Food Service Officer at each place responsible for all food operations on base.
After military served as a director of hospital food services in Concord, CA, Kent, WA, Oakland, CA, Monterey, CA, Seattle, WA. I retired Sept 2000 after 36 years of food service management.
Sandy and I have been married since Sept 66. She is currently an elementary reading teacher working part time in Duval,WA. We have lived in Redmond, WA in the same house since Dec 79.
Now that I'm retired I have taken over some of the home duties with my wife working; I do various projects for my daughter, son, wife, friends as well as for myself. I enjoy lake fishing throughout the State, camping in our camper, and deer hunting in the Fall each year.
