After graduation in 1963 I attended Olympic college, Spokane Falls Community college and Eastern Washington State College. After changing my major several times, with lots of credits and no degree, I became disillusioned with it all and went to work as a technician for the Washington Army National Guard in Yakima. After ten years with the National Guard I left to become shop and maintenance foreman for Metro Freight Systems in Kent. While in Kent I also attended a local bible college. Once again I left short of a degree to go back to work for the National Guard. My career with the National Guard sent me all over the U.S. and Germany training other technicians and guardsmen to overhaul and rebuild the armoured equipment in the Army inventory. I have since retired from the National Guard with 32 years service. My Wife, Candice, is retired from Alaska Airlines and we are enjoying retirement here in Auburn. Travels include Alaska, Australia, Mexico, cruises in the Caribbean, Canada and several European countries. I enjoy salmon and steelhead fishing, Alaskan fishing of any kind, golf, pyrotechnics, landscaping, and other hobbies too numerous to mention. I am still a student of religion and history, with God being foremost in my life. |
