July 2003:
Now: Retired in November, 2002. Just bought a river sled. Doing lots of fishing  salmon, steelhead. Marsha and I have been married for eight years. Just completed a fly rod on which I hope to catch a steelhead  something Ive dreamed of since I was a kid.

Marsha still plays volleyball, and went to the World Senior Games in Utah last year.

History: After high school, it was college at WSU. Then military service. Flew helicopters in Vietnam for 18 months. Then back to college at UW. Then consulting forestry for a year, logged for three years, then worked for the state for nearly 30 years. I was originally employed as an economist at Natural Resources, then got into computers, and finished up doing software certification for network applications for Labor & Industries.

Although I fished when I was younger, didnt really get back into it until just a few years ago after I was persuaded by a close friend. Now Im just loving it.

Double dating with Dan Harvey was one of the most crazy times of my life. Remember Senior Week at Twanoh, and drinking beer on the now Alderbrook Golf Course.
